Sie sind einfach spannend und man kann sich in Ruhe mit ihnen besch\u00e4ftigen, ohne jemand zu st\u00f6ren. Viele solcher Ruinen gibt es in Rheinhessen nicht, es sind soweit ich wei\u00df, gerade mal drei. Die kleine <strong>Beller Kirche<\/strong> ist zwar wenig spektakul\u00e4r, bietet sich aber f\u00fcr einige interessante Motive an. Sie liegt direkt an einer Kreisstra\u00dfe und ist bequem begehbar.\u00a0(<a title=\"Google Maps: Heller Kirche, Eckelsheim\" href=\"http:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/2SDXv\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Landkarte<\/a>)<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_18506\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-18506\" style=\"width: 386px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/georg-dahlhoff.eu\/monochrome\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/201010260122.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-18506\" src=\"https:\/\/georg-dahlhoff.eu\/monochrome\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/201010260122-386x580.jpg\" alt=\"Ruine der Heller Kirche - Bild Nr. 201010260122\" width=\"386\" height=\"580\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-18506\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Ruine der Beller Kirche &#8211; Bild Nr. 201010260122<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Die\u00a0<strong>Beller\u00a0Kirche<\/strong>\u00a0bei\u00a0<strong>Eckelsheim<\/strong>\u00a0in Rheinhessen, wurde in zwei Bauphasen im sp\u00e4tgotischen Baustil errichtet: Im Jahr 1490 war der Chorraum soweit, dass der Altar geweiht werden konnte, und im Jahre 1519 wurde das Langhaus abgeschlossen. Nach Fertigstellung waren Chor und Langhaus mit Gew\u00f6lbe und Dach versehen. S\u00fcdlich an den Chor schloss sich eine zweist\u00f6ckige Saktristei an, von der heute nur noch niedrige Mauerreste stehen.\u00a0Die\u00a0Beller\u00a0Kirche\u00a0diente anfangs wahrscheinlich als Marien-Wallfahrtsort und der\u00a0Beller\u00a0Markt an den Tagen um Mari\u00e4 Himmelfahrt ist darauf zur\u00fcckzuf\u00fchren. Zerst\u00f6rt wurde die\u00a0Beller\u00a0Kirche\u00a0vermutlich im 30-j\u00e4hrigen-Krieg, aber dazu ist nichts N\u00e4heres bekannt.
