Oben auf dem zentralen Sockel stehen die Darstellungen von Gutenberg, Sch\u00f6ffer und Fust. Die Figur im Bild, eine von vier, am Rande des Denkmals stellt hingegen keine bestimmte Person dar, sondern ist eine Allegorie f\u00fcr die Wissenschaft der \u00a0Theologie. Im Hintergrund ist teilweise das h\u00f6chste Hauses der Stadt, des Commerzbankturmes zu sehen.
