In den Hallen der historischen Benz-Fabrik sind neben zahlreichen Autos, Motor- und Fahrr\u00e4dern u.a. das erste Automobil, der Patent-Motorwagen von Carl Benz, viele kleine Details die zur Geschichte des Automobils dazu geh\u00f6ren ausgestellt.<\/p>\n<p>Am Automobil, wie wir es heute selbstverst\u00e4ndlich nutzen, haben viele kluge K\u00f6pfe mit zigtausenden Idee konstruiert. Aber den aus heutiger Sicht bescheidenen Anfang machte Carl Benz mit der Erfindung seines Patent-Motorwagens, der in seinem Aussehen noch sehr an ein Pferdekutsche erinnert. Das war der Anfang einer rasanten technischen Entwicklung und einer Industrie, die gerade uns in Deutschland nach wie vor Arbeit und Wohlstand beschert.
