Kurf\u00fcrst Carl Theodor lie\u00df sie 1779 bis 1795 erbauen und wollte damit ein Zeichen f\u00fcr Weltoffenheit und Toleranz setzen. Als Vorbild diente die Gartenmoschee von William Chambers in Kew Gardens in London.<\/p>\n<p>Die Moschee, die ausschlie\u00dflich dekorativen Zwecken dient, besteht aus dem Zentralbau mit seinen zwei Minaretten und Gebetsg\u00e4ngen.
