Bereits im 7. Jahrhundert stand hier an dieser Stelle eine Kapelle, die im 12. Jahrhundert durch einen romanischen Neubau ersetzt wurde, von dem heute nur noch der Turm steht. Anfang des 15. Jahrhunderts wurde die Kirche im Sp\u00e4tgotischen Stil ausgebaut, wobei z.T. die romanische Bausubstanz \u00fcberbaut wurde.<\/p>\n<p>Die Burgkirche wurde ab 1690 von der katholischen und evangelischen Gemeinde simultan genutzt. Seit 1707 ist sie rein evangelisch.
