Der Eckturm im Vordergrund stammt noch aus dieser Zeit. In seinem heutigen Erscheinungsbild im Renaissance-Stil besteht es seit Ende des 17. Jahrhunderts. Zuletzt saniert wurde es 1977 bis 1989 im Auftrag des Kreises Kronach.<\/p>\n<p>Das Schloss wird heute von der \u00d6kologischen Bildungsst\u00e4tte Oberfranken sowie von der Imkerschule Oberfranken genutzt.
